Canadian Scout Exchange SATURDAY - at the Camp Early Saturday morning we got to participate in the International flag raising. Andy with the Rovers, and JJ with his troop. Colin with his troop, and JJ again. Nick with his troop, Mr. Pound with his troop, and Bill D. Breakfast is served!! Everyone gives it a go, at some good old fashioned log rolling (top left - Bill, top right - Mr. Szabo, bottom left - Colin, bottom right Mr. Pound) Nick hangs and Andy takes in the equipment at the wood burning station. Andy gives the old fashioned hand tools a try at the log sawing station. Dinner is on - smoking some turkeys!
SUNDAY, WITH MY HOST FAMILY - Mr. Robin I visited the Canadian National (CN) Tower - the tallest free standing structure in the world. I go to hang with a friendly moose in the lobby. This is Ian and Sidney, my host family. I got to check out this cool guy as we waited in line to go up the tower. Here's a shot of my host family and two scouts who stayed with us, and a view of the Toronto skyline. Inside the tower there are glass floors so here is the view of the ground looking through the floor. MONDAY, WE GO BACK HOME, AND STOP AT NIAGARA FALLS The scouts sneak behind the falls to check it out. Here's the view from the top of the falls, and a cameo with my boys. Here are Colin, Bill and Andy doing their poses for us at Niagara Falls. GOT MORE PHOTOS YOU'D LIKE ME TO POST? JUST MAIL THEM IN! ! ! |
