Venture Patrol The Troop 406 Venture Patrol was just formed this year, as their first High Adventure they are going scuba diving at Florida Sea Base (it is headquartered in the heart of the Florida Keys, on an island (Lower Matecumbe Key) 75 miles south of Miami)). Our Venture Patrol went through it paces early last year when they underwent rigorous NAUI dive training. Many of the Scouts and Scouters enjoyed it so much, they went on to become advanced divers. We are heading down to dive during Easter week. You can check out the dive conditions and a lot of other stuff at the upper keys.
