Fire Safety visit to Montgomery Fire Training Center

We certainly appreciate Mr. Murphy taking our Troop to the Montgomery County Fire Safety Training Center.   As a Certified Instructor he is able to show us much then most people get to see and do.

Here is Mr. Murphy at the start of the morning going over fire basics, do you remember them?  Look real close at the chalk board.

Now the Troop gets to try on pieces of gear.   Chris tries on a face mask.

Mr. Murphy demonstrates how the smoke travels through a building.

Danny puts out the fire.

If you think this is cool, and you want to earn your Fire Safety Merit badge - please contact Mr. Murphy or Mr. LoCasale (they are both counselors) and join us on our next trip.

Many thanks go out to Mr. Murphy and Mr. LoCasale for all of their help and for making this trip possible.  We sure do appreciate our local fire fighters.
