Applebees Fundraiser

Thanks to all who participated in this event.  The money we made will cover the cost of new/repaired equipment for the coming year!

What's next?

The PLC is putting together a great list of Spring events.  Look for upcoming information on the (Road to) First Class camping trip, a Hiking/Biking trip, and the return of the May canoe trip.  If you have any ideas for a troop event tell your PL, SPL, or any leader.  This is YOUR troop!

PLC Meetings

All Patrol leaders, Assistant patrol leaders, and certain other leadership positions should be meeting once a month to plan your troop.  ALL Scouts are invited to attend the PLC meetings.  See the SPL for details.

SeaBase 2012

We are signed up for SeaBase!  If you are on the roster please make sure you are paying Mr. Szabo.

Committee Meetings - NOTE NEW DATE!

3rd Wednesday  of every month in the Church Welcome Center (check the Troop Calendar) from September through May.  If you are an adult and not on the committee - why not?  We also need Merit Badge Counselors.  You don't need to be an expert in the field to be a counselor.  Ask at the next Troop meeting.

Adult Training

Training is required for all adult leaders.  This includes committee members as well as Scout Masters.  If you don't fall into one of these categories - why not?  Join the committee and have a say in your son's Troop.  The basic training required for committee members can be done online.

Roundtables - Second Wednesday of every Month
7:30pm.  2650 Audubon Road, Audubon, PA (upstairs at JP Mascaro and Sons).
All are welcome to attend

Have you seen the Eagle Honor Board in the Social Hall? This is a very impressive project from Mr. Kilcoyne. Check it out!

Other Important Information

Stories- None? Where are the articles from our Scouts working on the Communications Merit Badge?

Save your Redner's Tapes to support the troop (you need to use a Redner's Card). Mrs. Kennedy will collect them and answer any of your questions. As of March 11, 2010 it is my understanding that our Scouts and families have turned in enough tapes that Mrs. Kennedy will be making the first submission for funds! THANK YOU ALL!

Bring your empty ink jet cartridges for donation, Mr. Miller tells us that the used cartridges have earned us over $500.00! Probably $1000.00 by now!
