    Hotel Information

Parents are welcome to stay at the hotel, Scouts will camp with the Troop (this is not optional).

Holiday Inn's group sales agent, Lisa Hahn, was very "accommodating."  She is reserving a block of 20 rooms, (checking in on Friday, April 16th, checking out Sunday, April 18th).  The block for "Boy Scout TROOP 406 - Royersford" is for all non-smoking rooms, each with 2 double beds, at a rate of only $79 plus tax.  That is actually $10 cheaper than their lowest internet rate.  Anyone who wants to reserve a room at the Holiday Inn can call the hotel's direct tollfree number by April 9, and if there are any rooms in our reserved block not filled by that date, the hotel will put them back into their general public availability.  Tell everyone who calls to give the name of our group - Boy Scout TROOP 406 - to get the special $79 plus tax special rate.  The hotel's direct tollfree number is 800-280-4188.

Here is the hotel info.  It is less than five minutes from Greenbelt Park where the Scouts are camping and is within one mile of NASA Goddard.  There is plenty of shopping and restaurants within walking distance of the Holiday Inn, too.
